I recently had the opportunity to work with Zach on rebuilding our dream home. I must say, that although we had some setbacks and challenges, the way Zach addressed our issues is what made me give a 5-star rating. In the beginning, there were significant communication issues with our project manager but once we expressed our concerns to Zach, he immediately rectified the situation and became the project manager himself in order to get us back on track. Once that happened, work was getting done much quicker and when we were back on schedule, he handed us off to one of his other PMs but stayed in communication with us. Our project was expected to take 9 months. Toward the end of the project, there was a significant miscommunication; however, once again the way Zach handled it was extremely professional and set him apart from the rest of the contractors in Florida. Toward the end of the project, we were told, "We are almost done" and at one point told two weeks. We were living in a month-to-month rental at that time and had to give proper notice. We closed all utility accounts and packed up the box only to find out we were far from ready. We don't know where the communication on that broke down, but once we had a sit down with Zach, he immediately provided us with one of his rental units until we received our occupancy permit. Lastly was how Zach handled our roof situation. We ordered a black metal roof. We signed the waiver that "there may be oil canning" which the manufacturer described as " you may see imperfections in the roof." That was an understatement. The roof looked horrible like someone took a sledgehammer and pounded every inch of it. Zach agreed. The supplier blamed the installer, the installer blamed the material, and we just wanted it to look nice. Zach couldn't leave a project like that and replaced the roof completely with a better-grade material. The final product looks great! The bottom line is that I don't think any construction project will be perfect. You are going to run into problems, delays, setbacks, and challenges. It is how the contractor responds to those concerns that sets Zach Rose Architecture and Construction apart from the rest and that is why the company gets a 5-star review. The end result of all the work was, to put it bluntly, a dream. We love how everything turned out. All of the special features we added are amazing and Zach tolerated all of our last-minute change orders. If I do this all over again, I would choose Rose Architecture and Construction again but I would use his in-house architect and design team to make the entire process more streamlined. The question is, will Zach want to choose me :)
My husband and I found Rose Architects via a website search, and I was so impressed by the positive reviews. We met and immediately felt comfortable and confident in Zach and his team to supply plans for our new single family home. In my experience, everything I read was absolutely true. From the very beginning, everyone was professional, pleasant, capable, knowledgeable, caring and responsive. Emails, texts or phone calls were responded to speedily, and in one instance, because I couldn’t sleep, I sent off an email inquiry at 4:30 in the morning and was shocked to get a response back in 15 minutes. The team handled everything, including mechanical, civil and structural engineers, so we had a one-stop-shop for all our needs. The plans produced were brilliant, and it seems no stone was left unturned. I can wholeheartedly recommend Rose Architects. They really do care, and are awesome at what they do. I am so grateful others posted reviews ... they were my first choice, and I didn’t need to look any further. Zach has been great to work with. As a local remodeling contractor specializing in kitchens and bathrooms, we often require the advise and guidance of an Architect. Many of our projects are small, but very detailed, and Zach is always there when we need him. His plans help to get Permits in a timely manner and allow us to keep the job running. Together we are able to produce incredible projects. Working with Zach has been a pleasure, and I would highly recommend him.

The Rose team did an incredible job designing our home. Zach and Kevin made the process efficient and fun.
