We had a wonderful experience at LeadER. They gave our furry baby lots of love and kept us updated. They were very honest with us and explained all the risks that came with his surgery. Thank you LeadER for saving our boy’s life!!!!!!! We are forever grateful for your entire team of caring and professional individuals. For the little things such as taking the time to give us blankets to sit on as we visited and sat crying on the floor, for your patience when answering all of our questions, and for showing our boy so much love while in your care. It means so much to us! We know our boy was in the very best hands. You entire team is amazing!
We have been taking our pups to Leader for years now. This includes our previous baby as well. When it was her time, the team was so kind and gave us all the extra care we needed to l say our final goodbyes. Since we first rescued our current baby, along with her brother that my mother rescued, Leader has been our go to for any urgent and surgical matter. We have had them spayed and neutered with fantastic results and when they needed specialists for liver issue and emergency care, the staff has always been attentive and so loving to our pups which makes the experience even better. Dr. Groveman is spectacular. She is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. You can see she loves animals and even our super anxious dogs do very well with her and her nurses. 100% have recommended and will continue to do so.
It's a terrible place. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. A place where they think about how to snatch more money from customers. Knowing how much people love their pets, these doctors put pressure on the patient and prescribe medications that are absolutely not used for your pet. Every day there is a new doctor who prescribes the wrong treatment and convinces you that he is doing everything right. If you do not pay a 75% deposit of $2,500, your pet will not be helped. We brought our baby to this institution, Paid $20,000, where we received a lifelong trauma and the corpse of our pet. He was killed and told that this is life - it's so simple! And the worst thing is that you can't do anything. They took a lot of money from you, killed your baby and that's it! This place shouldn't exist anymore. Damn place.
Our 12 year old mix breed rescue dog Emma was referred to LeadER for cardiac evaluation by the neurologist at SEVN after a fall down our stairs and not being able to move at all. We transported her from Miami and she was seen immediately by the ER veterinarian and Cardiologist at LeadER. A comprehensive plan was put together by all the specialists involved for her best shot at recovering. She has been home for a week and is slowly improving, starting to walk and enjoy life as she had prior to her fall. Special thanks for the genuine kindness, care, and professionalism we received from ER Dr. Stavros, ER Nurse Valerie, and Patient Coordinator, Meg among many others.
I’ve been to this hospital for emergency situations with two different dogs and I could not recommend them more. As a healthcare professional for humans, I was blown away by the amount of knowledge and thoroughness that this place demonstrated. The interdisciplinary team works so closely together and makes sure that every decision is the best decision for the animal. Luz, one of the techs would send photo updates of the pup which was super reassuring. My one emergency situation didn’t end very well but the internist was so knowledgeable and made me feel confident that we had done everything possible & he didn’t give up until all questions were answered. My second visit I was lucky enough to have a happy ending & I owe it all to the entire team. Please don’t hesitate to take your animal here for ANY emergency.
