I have been taking my animals to Seiler for several years and have always had professional experiences even if the news I was receiving was not good. Staff are compassionate, competent and able to multi- task which is apparent by the number of clients they have to juggle. I have had several doctors treat my dogs and cat over the years and all have treated us with respect and have provided me with their education and expertise in resolving health issues. Prices are reasonable and I always ask in advance what visits will cost. ( I don’t do surprises) I even stop in occasionally to pick up special foods if needed and their operating hours are pretty extensive. All in all I’m very satisfied with the care and customer service I receive from Seiler.

Doctors and techs were great and very kind when I brought my dog in for an emergency visit when he got a deep laceration on his leg. My usual vet couldn’t take him last minute as it was Saturday and they were booked so they recommended Seiler. They were great in handling my dog as he is not the easiest dog and he is a big dog. My Dog ended up needing surgery and they got me in as soon as possible or I would have ended up going to the emergency pet hospital and they most likely would have charged triple. The whole ordeal was honestly very stressful for both my dog and myself but everyone at Seiler Animal hospital was great and very helpful they made the situation a lot easier and my dog is recovering nicely.

An expensive hospital that pushes endless testing after testing—because they know you’d pay anything for your pet. And in the end, none of it mattered.
All those urinary tests I did to prevent stones? Completely useless. I made sure to tell them my baby couldn’t handle another bladder surgery—he had already gone through three. I followed every recommendation, did all the blood work, every test they asked for, and I was told he was healthy.
Two weeks before he passed, we called for an appointment. They had an opening, but since we called the same day, they labeled it as an “emergency” visit—just to charge more. Everything at this hospital is about money.
Dr. Maureen should not be allowed to treat animals. She’s terrible. We told her his stomach was swollen, and instead of actually checking, she said he just gained weight. $2,800 later, we found out he had bladder stones, kidney stones, and cancer.
Dr. Maureen is horrible.
Seiler Animal Hospital should change its name to Seiler Bank.
They are the most expensive and the most worthless vet clinic I’ve ever been to.
I even told Dr. Maureen that Shosho had surgery on his leg and recently hadn’t been putting weight on it—he was clearly limping. She suggested an X-ray, which of course came back “fine,” like everything else. Now I wonder if he was always in pain with his leg too.
She killed my baby.
You’d think a vet is someone who truly cares about animals—but not here.
Seiler Animal Hospital cares about money, and nothing else.
