Very professional and courteous memorial funeral service for my mom, 77 years old, Mary E Anderson. The reception dinner was amazing, the flowers, the ambiance, and the easy of creating a video/photo and excellent communication. I wouldn't change a thing & recommend anyone going through this difficult time to hire FHFH.

One word: OUTSTANDING! If you want your services to go perfectly call Lynne Benton at Fred Hunters in the Rio Vista area of Ft Lauderdsle. Lynne is as good as they get. She helped me with my 95 year old mother’s funeral arrangements, the mass and her viewing. Lynne arranged 2 beautiful modern limousines with 3 trooper escorts from the funeral home to the church. Lynne worked with the church staff and myself to come up with a beautiful program for the attendees at the funeral mass. She also made all of my family members an itinerary for the weekend which were placed in their hotel rooms. Talk about going above and beyond!! I could not have been happier.
Call Lynne…. You won’t be disappointed!

Words will never be enough to thank Barbara Losada and her fantastic team at Fred Hunter's Fort Lauderdale. Barbara and Lorena were truly a heaven sent to our family during such a difficult and tragic time with the unexpected death of my beloved husband Fabio Angelo. As the Funeral Director, Barbara made herself available to us whenever we had any questions that needed answering. Fabio was a unique person and an extraordinary performing artist, and we envisioned an unconventional service filled with all the things he loved. Barbara and her team cared about helping us create a beautiful and one-of-a-kind Celebration of Life. While we were producing a literal show at the Funeral Home we never got no for an answer. We created an artistic experience for visitors that day that included multiple visual elements like a variety of multimedia, screens, live music and circus, dance and drag performances with professional stage lighting and a museum-like display of Fabio's costumes and memorabilia. The outcome was magical, and exceeded all our expectations. Every corner of the building was touched with Fabio's magic and love. We were only able to achieve this with the support and compassion the team at Fred Hunter's showed to us. When a death is unexpected, you don't even know where to start. The team at Fred Hunter's took care of so many details that I wouldn't have figured out on my own. I will repeat that they answered all my questions, and I had so many questions. Fabio's body had to be transported from another country, and I felt so lost but Barbara and her team handled all the legal paperwork and logistics flawlessly. They are the definition of going above and beyond. Through the process Barbara felt part of our family, like a sweet and wise
Godmother guiding us through all the decision making. I felt seen and heard, and yes, loved and cared for. I would say the facilities are top tier and you will get the best professional services you could ask for, but it is their generosity of spirit that I will always be grateful for. Muchas Gracias Fred Hunter's Fort Lauderdale!

I buried my mother in law dec of 2021. It’s cost us around $20,000. Everything was cool up until when they were covering the grave. After placing the cover on the vault, they stepped my mother in laws vault to bring a water pipe threw buriel spot, the grave. It was so insulting to all of us. Specially my wife and sister in law. The funeral person that has handling our account, couldn’t believe it either. He was so embarrassed. He called over the person in charge of the plot for an explanation. She came over and told us she didn’t know and that was it. She was very cold in my opinion. The priest also told us that we should except such a thing. I will never ever use their services again. They were so cold about the situation and just proceeded despite the mistake. It literal ruined that moment of goodbye. Literal insult to injury. We are Hispanic, and in my opinion , as Hispanic people we always have to accept misfortunes and walk away. And by the way, the guy / person In charge of our account never called us again to see how we were doing. Ever. Ever. So much for compassion. Attached are pictures.

Fred Hunter’s was great to work with. Upon my father in laws passing they handled the whole process for us which took that part of the stress off our family. I’ve recommended them to friends who also have had a great experience with them. Very professional and courteous.
