My young and my dad recently passed away so I found myself lost and not knowing the nexts steps to take. The staff here helped me every step of the way. I worked with Hannah planning the service and she was absolutely phenomenal. Dan worked with me on the burial aspects and he was equally as great. Everyone helped to make things as smooth as possible. Highly recommend this facility
Losing a loved one is never easy, but Sophie and the staff at the Kraeer Funeral Home made this experience effortless. From the initial contact, to the last minutes at the grave site, they were cognizant of our family, our feelings, and were consistently compassionate. Sophie presented comprehensive options and suggestions for all arrangements. All of the suggestions were proven to be professional, suitable, and ideal for our wishes and desires. Moreover, she made herself fully available throughout the ENTIRE process, going above and beyond to meet our needs.Our experience beat expectations for us and our guests. Sophie and her team made a very difficult time an inspiring and glorious experience. Being able to order flowers through the website, having the obituary posted online, and having all arrangements taken care of on-site combined to make this process uncomplicated. "From start to finish they were all amazing". I called a few funeral homes before someone recommended me to Kraeer Funeral home and I spoke with Sophie , she was amazing. She came to the house and went over the services they offered and she really listened to what we wanted. My family has used Kraeer Funeral Home to care for our family members, for many years. Despite my connection to the funeral home, I can be the toughest customer. However, I was amazed at their attention to detail, care and compassion given to my family when my uncle passed away. I get to witness first hand how amazing the team is and how they truly are dedicated to bringing comfort during one of the worst days any family can experience. The folks at Kraeer Funeral Home & Forest Lawn are amazing. They have the compassion and care that you need in your darkest and toughest times. My sister did not have a plan other than she wish to be cremated. But no word as to who, what, etc. I chose this location honestly because it was the closest to her home where she passed. The moment the gentlemen came in during the middle of the night to take my sister I felt a sense of peace. They were both dressed very sharp and before even entering the doorway of the home they both gave their heartfelt condolences. The way they handled and took my sister out was as if they were carrying their own sister. That morning I and my husband met with our Funeral Director Sophie. She was beyond amazing. Her personality, her warmth and knowledge of what a family member is going through was so soothing. She went over all details, explaining it all and never making us feel pressured or rushed on anything. We had a Life Celebration for my sister that turned out perfect. Sophie took in every detail to the TEE of what my sister liked and was about. All of our family and friends were so touched by the way things were done. Thank you SO SO much Sophie and the staff and Kraeer for making such a difficult time a little more bearable. Bless you all.
