I'm pre registered from a previous visit at a different location in 2023 so, I had little interaction with front office staff that some reviews contain negative comments. The little interaction I had with front office was fine with check in quick and easy. Lesson - fill out registration forms before you present to the clinic if this is your 1st visit to an MD Now clinic. I've used several urgent care clinics near my residence in Coconut Creek. I think MD Now as a franchise urgent care clinic is tops. They are equipped and staffed to take on non-emergency conditions with qualified MDs. MDs on staff is a big plus because they have the skills and training to know right away if your presentation needs emergent not urgent care and will get you to a nearby ER (HCA - NW FL) if needed. I had sutures placed 10 days earlier at that HCA ER above for a facial laceration. I first went back there as advised to do for suture removal. It was unusually busy. Didn't even try to check in. Went back to my car and drove about a mile to MD Now Margate. No one was waiting to be seen. Quiet, relaxed, large, comfortable waiting area. Was roomed in about 10 minutes? MA took my vitals and recorded my reason for visit then was placed in another care room where the MD arrived to remove the sutures almost immediately. The procedure took about 10 minutes and I was done. I did have elevated BP, high enough to be classified as hypertensive urgency - an ER visit was called for and recommended by the attending MD. I have a medical background and have a history of dealing with occasionally occuring labile HTN. I signed a discharge against medical advise (AMA). Recieved detailed instructions from the MD, out the door and on my way home in less than an hour. My BP returned to nearly normal within about an hour at home following the MD's discharge instructions. Also of note the clinic areas are neat and clean indicating attention to infection risk mitigation protocols. Its a place you're not likely to catch another person's cold or GI illness. I'll go back for simple stuff as needed like COVID or Flu, RSV screening. If you can safely triage yourself and know the difference between needing emergency care or urgent care, MD now is hands down an excellent choice, especially the Margate facility. Walgreen's MedExpess and CVS Minute Clincs are a step down urgent care option. Great for vaccinations with appointments but the level of urgent medical services is lower than MD Now.

I Been going there a lot sincev2020. I was there for an insect bite. I was very sick from it The doctor on Friday 8/23 was wonderful. A woman caring courteous n very knowledgeable. She comforted me I thought I had shingles I’m over 60. I lone that place it gets a lot of traffic because the doctors n nurses are very good. I feel comfortable there Sometimes like all doctor offices u may have to wait a little longer. It’s like everywhere else they all come in at once

After waiting here for almost an hour with my daughter that has 104 fever. The man at the front desk tells me that they do not accept her Medicaid insurance Simply Healthcare and I would have to self pay . Unacceptable and terrible customer service lacking empathy. This place should advertise this ahead of time so I could of taken my daughter to the emergency room.

They are very friendly, waiting room is big and spacious. They have great doctors I’ve visited over the years and I prefer this location. The wait time is reasonable and they will let you know in advance.

I was told the wait time was 1.5 hours despite the waiting room being empty. I was ultimately seen within 20 minutes. The MA who I initially saw was nice, listened intently and overall was very helpful. The Practitioner Ariana or something like that needs to work on her “bedside manner”. I was attempting to explain my issue and she immediately responded that what I was saying was untrue. I was shocked considering I came in for a consultation and she asked me to explain my issue. The entire encounter was so awkward and uncomfortable I ended up telling her I was not comfortable speaking with her and wanted to leave. she offered for someone else to come into the room, I declined and stated I would seek care elsewhere. She then called me 5 minutes after I left saying she would send ibuprofen to the pharmacy. If my explanation is incorrect, why send the prescription but more importantly, if I expressed i am not comfortable speaking with you and left the practice to avoid further discussion, why are you calling me? It’s Such a shame because the receptionist and MA really are nice individuals
