Road to Recovery was literally a lifesaver for me. They helped me truly transition myself into a productive life style. The staff honestly care about your well being & want to help you on a deeper level than most other places. They are also open to different paths to recovery instead of just preaching that there is only one way to get & stay sober. There is no way I would ever be able to thank the people at this facility enough. I am truly forever grateful for this place.
I've been in and out of detoxes, rehabs, psyche wards, Fath based programs, and jail. Road to recovery wellness center has by far been one of the best. Here they address mind, body, spirit. And also make sure all individual needs are addressed, court, probation, family, all relationships that addiction, mental health has ruptured. Superior caring staff, techs, and housing. Food transportation, fun in early recovery, future career support, job placement and most importantly our relationship with God! When I entered, I had become homeless, hopeless, bitter, and once again ready to throw in the towel, I had been doing this rehab dance for 21 years, I again was on probation with pending charges. I'm leaving on probation but no pending charges, I'm in the best shape of my life. Mentally, physically, spiritually. I'm going straight to school for commercial diving underwater welding, through the help of Vocational Rehab. Road to recovery gave me the perfect balance of structure, and support, but freedom to take advantage of the limitless possibilities available in South Floriday! I have nothing but high hopes for road, and the impacts a its having on the recovery community. With top of the line therapist and an a outgoing stuff. They where able to help me understand my addiction in depth. build coping skills, and some how manage to keep a slime on my face while they did it. If you want a felicity to push you to your goal of a better life road would definitely be on the top of my list.
Iv always been a failure my whole life. I came to south florida to start over and make better changes in life. I went to a few recover centers, but road to recovery is the one that truly actually has people who care and understand what i went though. This place has changed my life and did everything for me to help me reach my life goals. I cant thank them enough for helping me succeed. I highly recommend everyone to come here to start over they will do EVERYTHING in there power to make it happen. Thank you Road!!!
Where to begin with Road to Recovery.. I came out of a residential program in October 2019, loaded on psychological medicine ( about 8 different different pills, 3 times a day ) broken with no options left, burned most of all bridges, and I knew going back home was no longer an option. ( I am considered a poly-substance addict since 14 years old I am now 28 ) With one call, I was on my way to Ft. Lauderdale for a new way of life. Road to Recovery has and is still providing an extremely comfortable setting that encourages me to nothing but the next best thing at all times. Today, I no longer take the meds prescribed to me by the residential program I came out of and I’m proud to say my only prescription is medical cannabis that was prescribed to me when I first arrived at Road to Recovery. The new way of life that Roads has shown me has done nothing but help me understand my purpose, build my relationship with family, god and overall set me on the right path to becoming a productive member of society all while being comfortable in my own skin. I am now 10 months Clean from all drugs that I had been using since I was 14 years old. All thanks to God, my family, all of the Road to Recovery staff, and peers I met at Road to Recovery. Today, life is great and I will never forget what I have learned from this amazing program. I highly recommend this program to anyone struggling with this vicious disease. Life is so good today.
