I’m only posting a review because of one person since my stay with the hotel was awful. Hopefully I’m able to do another review explaining why. But now for the only positive- I was greeted by a gentleman named Tyler while walking to the beach. He was so kind and helpful and brought me a chair with towels. He even came and checked on me later on. He was the only reason I had a better experience here. It’s rare these days to find quality hospitality and he’s the perfect example of that. Thank you for being so great Tyler!

Would have been better off at Best Western. Pathetic excuse for a “resort”. No one ever answers the phone. Parking and valet is chaotic and nearly unmanageable. Paid for king bed and was put in a smaller room at same price. Bathroom so small can’t even fit two people. Pool is pathetic. Belongs at Motel 6. Got stuck in the elevator. No follow up or compensation. Service is horrible. Advertised in room dining. Untrue. No water pressure in bathrooms. Shower head falling off the wall. Floors in unit are sticky and gross. Toilet barely works. Construction going on all hours of the night. You can hear your neighbors causing a domestic disturbance. Paid $2800 for two nights. Left a day early I was so miserable. What a ripoff.

We had an amazing experience at B Ocean Resort, and Sally was a big reason why! From the moment we arrived after an exhausting flight travelling with a baby, she welcomed us with warmth and made us feel right at home. Her humor and kindness truly stood out, making our stay even more enjoyable. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated to creating a great guest experience, and Sally does it effortlessly. She’s an absolute gem, and anyone visiting B Ocean Resort is lucky to have her there.

Also, we wanted access to a private beach and got it so no complaints there!

Our stay was fantastic, thanks to the exceptional customer service, prime location, and spotless, comfy room. Every detail was impeccable, from the cozy bed to the pristine cleanliness throughout the hotel. It truly made our trip unforgettable! Sally at the front desk, took such great care of us. The barista’s were always so friendly as well. We will be staying at this beautiful and unforgettable property again!

I stayed at B Ocean for my honeymoon over Valentine’s weekend. I booked my stay through Booking.com two weeks in advance. After booking, I saw a Valentine’s special on the hotel’s website that included a free room upgrade, strawberries and wine, and late checkout. My husband called multiple times to inquire about it, but the hotel didn’t answer. When they finally did, they couldn’t find our reservation and said they would call him back—but never did.
On the day of our reservation, we checked in after 4 PM and mentioned the Valentine’s special to the receptionist. She said she would take care of it, but nothing was ever done. We had paid for a Captivating City View room, but there was nothing captivating about looking directly at the building in front of us—there was no city view at all. I was disappointed but tried not to dwell on it.
The bathroom extractor fan never turned off, which was annoying at night. The beachfront location is beautiful, but parking is $55 per night, whether you choose self-parking or valet. We opted for daily parking since we planned to stay out late, but when we returned from partying, there were no available spots in the parking area in front of the hotel. The hotel does mention parking fees on their website, but I wasn’t fully aware of the situation beforehand.
There was also a noticeable paint smell in the building, but I suspect it was mildew since several other guests complained about it as well.
Overall, the location is great, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
