Like the 7 other negative reviews on this store❌STAY AWAY❌ The owner has a horrible attitude. I am not writing the review about the argument of the return/exchange. I am writing this to let others know that you are without a doubt the most rude, disrespectful, and disturbing person I have ever met in my life. I understand you have a no return policy that’s written on a notecard hiding behind the counter (photo shown). But don’t come attack me and be upset that I told you I’d be leaving a google review. Also, we all know who raised who’s voice at who. All I asked was to exchange the item and then you brought me to the sign and I took a photo and proceeded to leave while telling you I’d be leaving a review. Wish you luck but definitely won’t be in business long with the way you treat new customers such as myself. Horrific experience….

I love this this place so much! I've purchased everything from a beautiful teak desk to little brass mice. Marla has so many unique treasures for the interior, a large collection of small to medium sizes statues, vessels in all shapes/sizes/materials, well done costume jewelry, artsy rings, reasonably priced art and framed pictures, chairs and tables galore. The shop is small to medium sized but there's a lot of fun to be had hunting and scanning the goodies. Her prices are reasonable for the quality/material/uniqueness factor and she's willing to work with you especially if you've got a few items building up. I'd highly recommend a pop in especially if you're looking for a good conversation starter gift.

I have been looking for some time for a glass and chrome etagere. I found a few that were suitable at other stores but thought the price was too expensive. Then I went int Back in Time. The store is loaded with unique pieces that are reasonably priced. I found the perfect piece and the price was extremely reasonable. If you are looking for something unique you must check out this place. The owner Marla is a sweet person and very helpful. This is a fun store!!

I love adding to my vintage collections and so stopped in for a visit. I was surprised to see that this just one of several vintage, consignment, and antique stores in the plaza.
There is no denying that there is some great stuff in here. I was immediately drawn the 1950's glassware that would make for the most amazing happy hour cocktail party just like Mad Men.
What I was most excited to find was a pretty nice assortment of vintage Pyrex, especially in the pattern I most collect, turquoise Butterprint. It was when I turned it over that I got sticker shock. The exact same casserole dish with lid that I just purchased for $25 at the Cooper City Antique Mall was marked $45 here! I give them points for clearly pricing everything.
I tried to talk prices with the owner who told me she owns everything in the store. She wasn't budging and gave me a dismissive well they are popular. Part of the fun of purchasing them is getting them at a good price so here they stayed.
After that I gave the store a look around while she helped a gentleman with a piece of furniture. There are nice things here but I think you can do better on price somewhere else, possibly even the internet. She is right though, they are a hot collectible.

My husband went to this store and purchased two pieces of jewelry for me for Christmas. Being that he knows I love vintage jewelry, but he has no clue what he is looking at, he asked the store owner for guidance and stressed that the only important thing was that it was vintage. Upon her suggestion, he purchased a vintage ring for $35 and a locket for $65 that the store owner told him was from the 1950s. It is not. It is a modern import piece currently available at numerous outlets starting at less than $20 (price is not the issue, steering my husband to a cheap modern import misrepresented as true vintage is). This could have been an honest mistake.
I called the store during what was listed as their business hours and received no answer - understandable, it was Christmas Eve day!, so I left no message and planned on heading in after the holidays. The store owner called me back from her cell phone after 6pm on Christmas Eve, and I asked respectfully whether I could exchange one of the items my husband purchased (without getting into details as to my reason why). The store owner inquired as to what piece I was talking about, and, after describing it, she asked why I was calling and disturbing her on Christmas Eve while she was on vacation and that she "couldn't even think about this right now." - At which point I explained, respectfully, that, first of all, she had called me - and that I only wanted to exchange the item for something true vintage, which my husband requested and which this was misrepresented as. The owner accused me of being "aggressive" and said he would think about it "after the holidays."
It is now 2021, and I have not heard back. It does not seem the owner wants to make this right, so I have no options left but to leave this honest review about my experience. I had hoped this was an oversight, and only ever asked for an exchange (not a refund) nor was I disrespectful or "aggressive" in my communication, as you would assume that a business owner would stand behind the items they sell (especially in the event of a major misrepresentation in my advertising), but that does not appear to be the case in this scenario.
I am willing to revisiting my opinion of my experience with this business if anything changes.
