LATEST UPDATE:
Cousins sent out a supervisor Kyle to check out the problems and discovered some shoddy patchwork at the bottom of the handler by a previous technician. I don't care as long as it got fixed and Kyle did fit it. He also sealed the upper part of the plenum in the attic . Time will tell if the problems are fixed but cousins response and honoring the warranty on their service and Installation has been amazing. Very appreciative.

I leave this update in hopes that cousins remedies this issue. It's been 4 months since Installation and we have water falling down the front of the intake box which i chalked ho to condensation from it being in the garage . But now we have mold growing on all the joints where the plenum meets the handler and cool air blowing into my attic. They did not seal this thing properly . I've had nothing but problems since installation . Everything before that point was great . I need someone other than a tech to come out here and figure this out .
I was skeptical going with a big box company over my usual AC service guy but boy am I glad I did. From start to finish the experience was smooth and organized. Donald came and gave us their estimate which beat the competition . On top of that they were the ONLY company that came out and actually looked at our ducts to properly size our unit . Turns out our 20 year old unit was too large for our home at least by today's standards . Donald's in depth knowledge and availability to answer all my questions was the determining factor for us over the other 3 estimates I received. Installation was smooth and so far so good with the unit! Even the permitting process was super organized. Will be setting up a service contract with them in the future for sure . Extremely pleased so far! A++++++

Jake from Cousin Air, Inc. was very helpful. His initial job was to perform annual maintenance, but I told him that the thermostat was constantly turning on and off. He started trying to find the cause of the power outage. He spent many hours trying to figure out what was wrong with our system. He did everything he could, even calling their office to report that he needed help, and a technician, Angelo, showed up and did everything he could to troubleshoot why the AC was shutting off. The problem was not solved. The company sent another technician. Kyle checked the system and opened the fuse box. He checked the fuse at that time and it was fine, but next to the fuse box was a FPL box for surge protection and when that box was turned off it would cut power to the AC system. I called FPL and the technician came out and found that the box was not the problem, he found that the outside fuse box had a bad fuse and was cutting power. We are very grateful to the guys at Cousin Air, who were very helpful and did everything they could to help us. Thanks, guys!

The overall experience with Cousin's Air was very good. I had a completed installation on March 18th of 2025 and I wanted to wait to assess the all around performance before updating my review - due to the fact that I had not one but two terrible experiences with other AC companies.
It is incredible how far the quality of customer service and business integrity has fallen but I am so grateful that I found the Cousin's Air team.
The installation was handled efficiently and the process of evaluating the problem was a bit of a challenge but this team stuck with me and helped me understand the nature of the problems from start to finish.
I really can't say enough about their commitment to awesome customer service - Carlton was incredible and patient with my questions during the install. Jason helped me go over literally EVERY option I wanted to consider in the process of considering repair or replacement. Jerry came out to help us complete a general service/maintenance on the working unit that did not need repair or replacement and helped identify the problem that not one but two competing companies failed to even care about.
If you need a reliable recommendation for AC installation or repair, I strongly encourage you to contact the Cousin's Air team - they are the best I have worked with in the 10 years I've lived in Florida.

Lance was so amazing. Did the job in the most professional way possible. He came and diagnosed the problem and explained to issues to a newbie. He definitely deserves a raise. If I need work I will specifically ask for him, thank you lance.

I am relatively new to Cousins Air but so far they have been reliable and have great techs working for the company. Very professional, patient to explain things and really nice people in the office and out. I recommend Cousin's Air!
