I highly recommend Earl Johnston Roofing and am so happy I used this company to replace my roof. From the office staff, sales rep and the roofers they couldn’t have been nicer. I was informed of what was being done and when, every step of the way. Within one week the job was completed. The crew was very clean and made sure no nails or debris was left behind. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

We couldn’t be happier with the job Earl W. Johnston did with our roof. They were friendly, communicative and just a joy to work with. The roof was done in less than a week and they did an amazing job cleaning up after. I highly recommend. Thank you Earl W. Johnston Roofing!

The project was completed on a timely basis and it is a business that will do the job well, I think. The average score are due to two issues that we were not expecting.
The first one is that the final price exceeded the quote by more than 14% of the original quote. According to the sales person the 6 sheets of wood included in the original quote would be sufficient with 1-2 sheets more needed, but our job actually required 29 total sheets. The sheets are charged not just based on material cost but also installation cost, which makes each quite expensive. To be honest, most of the quotes we received were similar, so this issue may be an industry standard. Still beware, as we all have budgets we would like to stick to.
The second issue was that after making the final payment, I had to request the waiver of lien for this job SEVERAL times. I even had to get the sales person involved. When I finally receive the waiver, the document says that the waiver is valid "if final payment clears". In other words, it is worthless as I have to prove again that I made all the payments. I reach back explaining that we had already made final payments that the document should not include that statement. I was told it was a STANDARD form. The company which had presumed in telling me what a special client I was to them, treats me as a very STANDARD client after I no longer needed to make payments to them.

Very pleased with the work done by Earl Johnson Roofing. Impressed with the craftsmanship and quality. Roof required replacement of tongue and groove boards and matched perfectly. Sales representatives, on site workers and office staff were customer satisfaction driven. Would highly recommend this company.
