Our 15-year-old poodle Chico has been a patient at Ft Lauderdale Veterinary Clinic for four years. Dr. Javier Gonzalez is well-trained, knowledgeable, and experienced. He actively engages in Chico's healthcare by observing, asking questions, and listening. Then, thoroughly explains and answers all my questions. I trust his clinical analysis when he makes diagnoses. Everyone in the clinic is organized, efficient, warm, and attentive, from the staff at the front desk to the exam rooms. They are all well acquainted with and love their pet patients. Dr. Gonzalez and his staff feel like our extended family. My 30-minute drive to the clinic is well worth it. Thank you for keeping Chico healthy and at ease when in your care.
We first came to Dr. Gonzalez’ practice when my Labrador was diagnosed with melanoma 6 years ago and needed surgery. Everything went perfectly, they helped us quickly, treated my puppy with so much care, my baby recovered promptly with no issues afterwards. Since then, we have been loyal customers, we drive from Delray Beach to Fort Lauderdale because of the level of service they provide. When we got a second fur baby during the pandemic, we went straight to Dr. Gonzalez! The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, they are always accommodating for emergencies and Dr. Gonzalez’s experience and level of care is unparalleled. We got 2 healthy and happy puppies!

Dr. Gonzalez has taken care of my 3 dogs for the past 6 years and is amazing! He is very knowledgeable and patient and is always available when needed. His facility and co-workers are also fantastic. I highly recommend him.
