My family’s experience with Grace was above and beyond. We had to plan the funeral and viewing for my grandmother in a very short timeframe, and after visiting two other funeral homes, we decided to check out Grace. From the moment we entered the building and we were welcomed by Mandi, we knew this was the place. From start to finish, the Grace staff handled everything with the utmost empathy and professionalism. My family and I are grateful for the care the Grace staff took with us and our family member who passed to give her the best send-off possible.

This was our second time using Grace Funeral Chapels (my dad 9 years ago and my mom October 2024). Our Funeral Director, Shante Huson, put me at ease immediately. She is warm, kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional! There's nothing more important than knowing that your loved one is in good hands and I am grateful beyond words!

I just had my father's funeral service on Monday and it was even more beautiful than I could've imagined. From the beginning to the very end all the employees really made me and my family feel so welcomed. Everyone was so kind and also very professional. Everything turned out even more beautiful than I thought it would. Jose was also extra amazing and I just wanted to say Thank you to the whole Grace chapel staff for making my father's Homecoming service one we will never forget.

When dad Alexander Hamilton passed away suddenly the staff went above and beyond to make his transition memorable. The body had to be shipped and went above and beyond to accommodate our family need. My most memorable moment was the way they prepared his body for the viewing. My dad was a sharp dresser and that’s what they did it they make it seemed like he dressed himself. He always make sure is mustache was on point and they also accomplish that task. Thanks a bunch

On April 9th, 2022 Grace Funeral Chapel handled the funeral service of my cousin Angele Jean-Francois. This was the fourth funeral that Grace has handled for my family. Every aspect of the planning with Ms Mandy went very smoothly, including the appearance of the deceased. The funeral program produced by Ms. Mandisa was polished, professional and presented a heart warming portrayal of my cousin’s life. Last but not least is Mr Jerome, who was the most gracious and accommodating Funeral Assistant. Thank you all
Despite the commendable service provided by the staff, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and options in choosing what I wanted for my cousin’s funeral service. Why was I charged $95 for a flower vehicle and driver that we didn’t use? Why did I have to pay $295 for 100 programs and $125 for one hundred prayer cards when I only wanted thirty of each. If there ever was a time that demanded flexibility, a deadly pandemic, which also took my cousin’s life, would be such a time. Few if any funerals in the last two years have even allowed for one hundred attendees. I explained that we were expecting about twenty five people. Why was I charged $395 for a two hour church funeral when it was clear that the church service would be only one hour? These charges should have been included in the “Professional Services of Funeral Director and Staff.” This seems to me as double billing. And for that reason I will never use Grace Funeral chapel again.
