From the moment I walked in, I felt as though I was being judged based on appearances rather than being valued as a potential customer. The service I received was dismissive, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was not being taken seriously. Instead of being welcomed with warmth and professionalism, I was met with an attitude that made me feel as though I didn’t belong.
Every customer deserves respect, regardless of how they look or what assumptions might be made about them. A luxury jewelry store should pride itself on making everyone feel special, not just those who appear to meet a certain standard.
I truly hope Jared emphasizes training in customer service and inclusivity so that no one else walks away feeling the way I did. As a gay couple it’s hard to have safe spaces where we can be ourselves and truly feel accepted and that’s the legendary service we received.
