They refused to check my copay for me. My insurance said I have high deductible plan and that I can call urgent care and ask for billing code or give them my insurance to see how much my copay is. I'm having heart issues. And if I can afford the copay I would come in today. But she said we're not going to put your info in the system and then you don't show up. Wow great customer service. I really need to be seen or I wouldn't be calling. Thanks for nothin. 504 pm.
UPDATE- MY REPLY - You are lying to the wrong person. I work for a major health insurance company & been in medical field for 15 years, your lying. There is no HIPPA law prohibiting me to offer my insurance over the phone & you verify my benefits. This is what primary offices do all day. Your rep said "We don't got the time to check people's insurances over the phone". You are lazy. I went to Memorial ER, I reccomened go see them if was fast & easy. Please don't believe this companies lies, clearly they will say anything to get your bussiness. I know the regulations being a pharmacy technician & working for a large insurance company for several years. This is poor customer service & I don't appreciate it. The girl on the phone had a smart allic attitude also. I don't appreciate it. My insurance company informed me that legally you can check my copay or provide a billing code for me, which you refused to do both. MD now & Carespot told me how much a visit would cost also. How come they do it & you don't? Exactly. I was having heart papulltations & they were of no help. Also when a person has a high deductible your insurance company can't tell you the copay, but urgent care can & then if you over pay you'll be reimbursed by your insurance later..so this is how it all works.

Absolutely ridiculous, this used to be my primary urgent care clinic that I would use for everything, however, getting a bill from 2 years ago that they are sending to collections without every contacting me by phone or email is ridiculous. When called the receptionist is rude, impatient, and does not listen to anything I had to say and says she will just send it immediately to collections. The letter is threatening and ominous- I'm terribly upset to have been treated this way after being a continuous client there for years. We won't be back.

Samantha Simon, Nurse Practitioner is horrible. She spent a total of one minute with me by looking inside my throat and that’s it. I told her I had strep throat but she denied it. I had it 5 months ago with same symptoms but she said no. She didn’t even take enough time to assess me or listen to my symptoms. Instead she dismissed me. I am an RN with 30 years experience so I know my body. She has NO bedside manner whatsoever, doesn’t care about patients, rude and obnoxious and thinks she knows more than you. Charged my insurance $250 for spending one minute with me. That’s outrageous! Samantha Simon should never be a nurse. Don’t go there if you need help because she doesn’t give a damm!! Terrible service. Walked in the door just to get seen for my sinus infection. Showed the offer to the gentleman at the front desk in which he responded first that he didn’t know what I was talking about and second they wouldn’t apply the discount they have on their site! Can’t speak for the people themselves but as a business they don’t even honor their own deals. Also I was a self paying customer and it was my first time visit.

I was really impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of the staff at this urgent care center. Bree and Joe were particularly helpful, patient, and reassuring and it’s obvious that they enjoy what they do. I was in a lot of discomfort when I arrived and left soon thereafter very satisfied and relieved. Kudos to the fantastic nurse practitioner who examined me as well and apologies for not having her name. I would absolutely return to this facility. It’s just a nice feeling to find a place like this that helps to resolve your issue in a quick and supportive manner. Thank you!
