The food was really good. Not sure what they use in their fried shrimp batter but YES! So good. Get an extra sauce, 1 isn’t enough :). We also got the trio - fried lobster tail, snow crab cluster and fried blue crabs. The sauce they put on top the trio was delicious! The fried lobster was amazing. Crab leg meat was a good size and pulled out easy. Friend blue crabs I wouldn’t order again. Opportunities - the young lady taking our order could have better customer service and gave off an irritated vibe. But all the other young ladies were kind. The indoor seating closed an hour before the restaurant closed and we weren’t allowed to eat our order in there. Which no biggie. A couple tables outside would have been nice. We ended up eating in the trunk since we were an hour from home. :) Will definitely order here again.

Sister Sara's Crab House in Fort Lauderdale is the kind of spot that foodies dream about discovering. As someone who’s serious about seeking out the best culinary experiences, I’ve had my eyes on this place for a while. But what really sold me was seeing Wendy Williams—an icon I’ve admired since growing up in New York—drop by for a bite. When I saw that, I knew it had to be something special, and my two visits so far have exceeded every expectation. On both occasions, I came with the intent of trying their famous grilled oysters 🦪, but fate had other plans. The first time, they were starting the grilling later in the day, and the second time, they were grilling in Miami. No worries, though—this gave me a chance to explore some of their other dishes, and wow, did they deliver! On my first visit, I ordered the fried shrimp and wing combo, and let me tell you, those shrimp were *unbelievable*! Perfectly seasoned, crispy, and bursting with flavor. I’ve never had fried shrimp this good—seriously, a game-changer. The wings were great too, but the shrimp stole the show. On my second visit, I went all out with the crab and shrimp tub, loaded with sausage, potatoes, and corn, and topped it off with their garlic butter sauce. My son was with me, and we both agreed—this was the **best** crab boil we’ve ever had. The flavors were absolutely divine, setting a new standard for seafood boils. Now, let’s talk about the ambiance. Sister Sara’s isn’t a fancy, high-end restaurant—it’s unassuming, and that’s part of its charm. As a Bronx, New York native, I’ve learned over the years that the best food often comes from places you’d never expect. Hidden gems like this are what make exploring local food scenes so exciting, and we are lucky to have a spot like this in Fort Lauderdale. Beyond the phenomenal food, Sister Sara's Crab House is a Black-owned business, and supporting local businesses is something I’m truly passionate about. I’m already planning my next visit, where I’ll definitely reorder the incredible crab boil and, hopefully, the third time will be the charm for those famous grilled oysters. If you’re a foodie like me, trust me—this is one spot you don’t want to miss.

I ordered from here and let me tell you just from the smell of the food I knew it was going to be amazing! Everything tasted so good! The only thing I wish they added was some dipping sauce for the shrimp and crab. I can't wait to order from here again!

This was an absolutely amazing experience from the service to the food to the drinks. Ms Tina and KK were both delightful and so very welcoming. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with smiles and the food was soooo good.

This place is amazing definitely recommend, we came to visit from Texas and let me tell you we will definitely revisit. I ordered fried shrimp, conch, and steamed lobster. I wouldn’t change anything about the food it is perfect. The only suggestion I would have is if they could provide ice for the lemonade. Highly recommend you take your own cup of ice. Update: We came to visit and this time I brought my family, I was very disappointed. They were out of almost everything the quantity was definitely different. They up charged me because I wanted my shrimp fried and my lobster steamed and they boiled my shrimp and did not fry it. I was very disappointed to take my family to this place because I had spoken very highly of this place. Service was horrible this time around. I understand the service industry can be very overwhelming but there should be no reason customers should feel rushed while ordering especially when they come from a different state.
