5 stars – Thoughtful, Compassionate, and Truly Exceptional Care
I’m so incredibly grateful to the entire team at VCA Coral Springs Pet Resort & Medical Center for the exceptional care they gave my two dogs, Isla and Capri. From the lovely and welcoming front desk team, especially Tanya and Aaliyah, to the boarding and daycare staff, every person we encountered was kind, professional, and attentive.
One of my girls has severe separation anxiety, and it’s not always easy to leave her. She’s also not easy to medicate, and the team handled it with so much patience and care—never rushing her, always being gentle. But the team went above and beyond to ease her stress and mine. They read through all of my care notes carefully, made sure everyone involved in their care was fully informed, and even took the time to update me during her stay. That kind of attentiveness and communication is rare and so appreciated.
Haleigh, Amanda and Mayra were especially wonderful. Their calm energy and attention to detail made me feel like my girls were in the best hands. They were all caring, responsive, and clearly passionate about what they do. And a big thank-you to the rest of the daycare and boarding staff—you can tell this is a place full of people who genuinely love animals and treat them like family.
I plan to bring Isla and Capri for weekly or biweekly visits so they can get even more comfortable with this amazing team. I truly can’t say enough good things. This is the kind of place every pet owner hopes to find.

We just started using VCA for our recently adopted puppy. Our 1st appointment with Dr. Shaw was amazing. This was the 1st time I have ever left any vets office and didn't feel like a terrible dog mom. Dr. Shaw is amazing and treated my baby amazing. He performed her spay and kept me update on how she did.Dr. Shaw even will text you with lab results which is so nice!! The office staff and all the assistants that I have met are great!!! Thank you Dr. Shaw for taking such great care of my fur baby!!!! Looking forward to many years with Dr. Shaw and VCA!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. SHAW!!!

Had such a great first experience at the vet with my first-ever pet, Parker! Dr. Shaw, Sophia, and the entire team made the visit so pleasant and made me feel completely comfortable handling it all on my own. Everyone was so kind and caring, especially the sweet lady who helped keep Parker calm throughout—truly couldn’t have asked for better!

Just a quick review of the VCA Pet resort and medical center in Coral Springs. This location was recommended by the breeder. I brought my puppy in here for initial visit and had a great experience here. especially wanted to mention Joey, the assistant, and who was very caring and knowledgeable.
Thank you.

I have been using VCA Coral Springs for over 10 years, they cared for my last dog, referred me to Laps of Love when I asked for an alternative to put down my last dog at home. That is where my appreciation for this company ends. Over the past decade, they have made their medication costs astronomical to offset the "savings" on their Care Club. The "customer service" I just received from their office manager(?) Rachel, solidified my decision to never return here again, and only kept my Care Club membership in place due to the contract stipulations - will never set foot in that building again. She called me in an attempt to berate and belittle my displeasure of their policy that *only* the dogs doctor is to call with any test results. I had results sitting since Monday and I had to call and harass them FOUR different times between then and Tuesday, for them to finally tell me my dog had a drug resistant parasite that needed multiple treatments. My dog has been nauseous and unable to eat all week and these people are just letting her test results lay there instead of even giving me the opportunity to get her treated. When I was canceling my membership, Rachel had the nerve to tell me that this is not a life or death situation so it shouldn't have warranted another doctor telling me the results 😂 My dog literally cannot eat or drink and it's not life threatening. What a horrible, obnoxious excuse of a woman.
In the meantime - my dogs test results would probably still be sitting there if I hadn't hounded these people to do their jobs. Their policy for any test results is - get this - the doctor is to wait until their meal break to call the parents. So, in addition to not letting us know the test results we have already paid for, but the vets aren't even allowed a full break to themselves? I feel sorry for anyone that answers to her. If Dr. Delatorre hadn't come to the phone when I last called and demanded to know the test results, and further advised me to give my dog omeprazole that ended up finally curing her nausea, I'd have had to go to an animal emergency hospital, which we all know what that would have ran me, and that doctor has been my only positive experience with VCA in the past year. I've spent about 1k in the past week on medications alone and Rachel has the nerve to try to tell me I'm saving money - she must not realize that other people work with pharmaceuticals.
